What is left in the drawer is sensible and warm and the same three colors, and the only thing soft enough for a cold morning is a sweatshirt that belongs in the yard. It is not that the fun went away. It is that nothing on offer seemed to be made for a grown woman who still has a sense of humor.

Aileen is cut for that. The fit is deliberately oversized, so it drops from the shoulder and skims the middle instead of sitting on it, and the inside is fleece lined, which is where the warmth comes from rather than from heavy fabric. The cat print sits across the front as the whole point of the piece, and it comes in ten colors, so it can be quiet or it can be the brightest thing in the room. It goes over jeans, leggings or joggers, and it works for a coffee run, a long drive or an afternoon at home with the heating turned down.

Why women keep coming back to it

Warm without the weight. The fleece lining holds the heat in, so it carries a cold morning on its own without the bulk of a heavy knit that has to come straight back off indoors.

Room exactly where you want it. The oversized cut falls away from the body through the waist and hips, which means nothing pulls, clings or has to be tugged down over the course of an afternoon.

Something other than beige. Ten colors, from Black and Brown through Light Blue, Pink, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue and Purple, so it can replace the sensible one in the drawer rather than join it.

It gets a reaction. The cat print is the reason the grandchildren notice what you are wearing, and it is the reason this is the one that gets asked about at the school gate and the checkout.

Buy more, save more

Buy 2 and save 10%

Buy 3 and save 15%

Buy 4 and save 20%

The discount is applied automatically at checkout.

How it fits

It runs true to size and comes in S through 5XL, but remember the cut is oversized by design, so your usual size already gives you the loose, dropped shoulder look rather than a close one.
